CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Police arrested a man for discharging a firearm during a street fight and charged three others with disorderly conduct following a shots-fired call on Monday at the intersection of N. Brownell and E. Second Street, authorities said.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 8:53 p.m. and encountered a group outside 611 E. Second St. A resident, told police that Isaiah Allagree, 18, threatened to shoot them. Officers detained Allagree after locating him nearby, but a pat-down revealed no weapons. Allagree denied possessing a firearm, claiming a shirtless man fired the shots.

Police reviewed video evidence provided by a neighbor, which showed a verbal argument escalating into a physical fight at the intersection. The footage captured a shirtless man, identified as Christopher Williamson, holding a Taurus 9mm pistol in his left hand and firing multiple rounds into the ground. The video also showed a juvenile, 14, and Betty Campbell yelling obscenities and continuing the confrontation, with Allagree actively fighting but not in possession of a firearm.

Christopher Williamson was arrested for discharging a firearm within city limits but was transported to Adena Medical Center after suffering an asthma attack. He received a summons for charges at the hospital. The Taurus 9mm was seized and placed into evidence.

Betty Campbell and Isaiah Allagree were charged with disorderly conduct by fighting, and charges were recommended against the teenager for disorderly conduct in juvenile court. All three are scheduled to appear in Chillicothe Municipal Court on July 11.
