Two casinos in Ohio have shutdown Friday night until further notice.
Miami Valley Gaming in Lebanon and Hollywood Gaming in Dayton are both shut down. The closures went into effect immediately on Friday at 8 p.m.
Both casinos said the closures were ordered by the state’s lottery commission, however, the Guardian has not been able to independently confirm the claim.
Hollywood Casino in Columbus told the Guardian that they had no plans to close as of 8 p.m. Friday, but by 8:30 p.m. that changed. The casino announced they were shutting down until further notice.
Scioto Downs just south of Columbus was staying open, according to casino security at 8 p.m.
According to the Ohio Casino Control Commission, JACK Cleveland Casino, JACK Cincinnati Casino, Hollywood Casino Columbus, and Hollywood Casino Toledo were told to immediate comply an order by the Governor to limit 100 people inside their facilities.
