CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Horizon Telecom and the Guardian has awarded the third of five free gas cards in a community wide giveaway.
The $500 gas card giveaway campaign is a partnership between the two local companies in an effort to giveback during sky rocketing fuel prices.
The third winner was Paul Martin of Chillicothe, who received his card on Thursday.
“Horizon is happy to partner with Scioto Valley Guardian on this fun community event,” said marketing director Drew Nichols. “When Scioto Valley Guardian came to us with this great giveaway idea, we couldn’t wait to get things rolling. Helping out our community is something we here at Horizon pride ourselves on.”
The Guardian’s assistant editor, Jay Salley echoed those sentiments.
“Horizon is a cornerstone in our community and this partnership is something that means a lot to us.”
