WAVERLY, Ohio — One of two vehicles stolen in June from a Waverly car dealer has been located.
On June 7, a 2013 Dodge Charger and a 2022 Jeep Wagoneer were stolen from the Herrnstein Dealership.
According to the Waverly Police Department, the Jeep Wagoneer was located in Louisville, Kentucky. Reports say dispatchers received a call from the “vehicle’s location service.” Police in Kentucky located the vehicle, abandoned on a residential street.
Officials say no arrests have been made in the case. The gray Dodge Charger, license plate number FZL1141 is still missing. This was the second reported auto theft from a Herrnstein dealership this year.
In January, four Dodge Chargers from the Herrnstein dealership in Chillicothe were stolen. Officials say three of the four stolen vehicles were recovered.
