VINTON COUNTY, Ohio — The Vinton County Sheriff’s Office released its daily activity report for March 28, 2023. According to the report, deputies conducted a traffic stop at Lake Rupert at 12:46 AM. Later that morning, at 9:29 AM, deputies checked a suspicious vehicle at the Old Track on State Route 93. At 10:53 AM, deputies took a report of threats in the Sheriff’s Office lobby.
In the afternoon, deputies assisted AEP on State Route 93 at 1:08 PM and checked a residence on State Route 124 at 4:23 PM. At 5:17 PM, deputies took custody of Travis Wyatt on outstanding warrants out of Vinton County. Wyatt was transported to Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
Later that evening, at 7:43 PM, deputies responded to State Route 93 in reference to a neighbor dispute. Finally, at 8:06 PM, deputies responded to Log Pile Road in reference to a litter complaint.
