POMEROY, Ohio — On February 20, Meigs County Deputies were kept on their toes responding to a multitude of calls across the county. From domestic violence incidents to traffic stops and juvenile complaints, law enforcement remained vigilant in addressing community concerns. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the day’s events:
At 2:19 AM, deputies rushed to N 2nd Ave in Middleport in response to a domestic violence report. Kadience Tanner was apprehended and transported to the Gallia County Jail, facing charges of domestic violence.
Around 1:11 PM, authorities attended to a report of a protection order violation on Minersville Rd in Racine.
Shortly after, at 1:17 PM, deputies investigated a complaint of disturbance at a residence on Whites Hill Rd in Rutland. Thankfully, after dialogue with both parties, it was determined to be a civil issue, and the situation was peacefully resolved.
By 2:16 PM, deputies were addressing another complaint, this time of threats on Pomeroy Pike in Pomeroy. Thankfully, swift action by law enforcement led to the resolution of the situation.
