HIGHLAND COUNTY, Ohio — The Highland County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man accused of stealing property from a rural outbuilding earlier this month and has an active warrant out for his arrest.
Donald Ray Click III, 41, is charged with criminal trespassing and theft in connection with the incident, the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post.
A property owner in the 13900 block of state Route 124 reported the theft to the sheriff’s office on Thursday, Sept. 24, at about 10:17 a.m., telling deputies that surveillance video had captured an unknown man removing property from an outbuilding on the site the previous day, Wednesday, Sept. 23, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies reviewed the surveillance footage and identified Click as a suspect, the sheriff’s office said. He faces one count of criminal trespass, a violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.21, and one count of theft, a violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02.
Click is described by the sheriff’s office as 5 feet 5 inches tall and 260 pounds.
