CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — The city of Circleville and Uptown Circleville businesses have announced their trick-or-treat schedules for this Halloween season, giving families in the community two chances to collect candy before the holiday.
The city of Circleville’s trick-or-treat will run Oct. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m., according to a post from the city. An Uptown Business trick-or-treat is set for Oct. 27 from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by a costume judging contest at 6:15 p.m. at Pumpkin Show Park.
Pumpkin Show Park, at 121 N. Court St., sits in the heart of Circleville’s historic uptown business district. The flexible, open-air space is used throughout the year for community gatherings and is best known as a hub during the annual Circleville Pumpkin Show, a festival that has drawn hundreds of thousands of visitors to the small Pickaway County city each October since it began in 1903.
City officials encouraged residents to check the Pickaway County Events calendar for additional community events planned throughout the Halloween season.
