CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — President Donald Trump will headline a midterm campaign rally in Chillicothe on Wednesday, Oct. 28, six days before Ohio voters go to the polls, according to an event listing posted by the Republican National Committee.

Doors open at 3:30 p.m. The program begins at 5:30 p.m., and the president’s remarks are scheduled to start at 7 p.m., the listing says.

The exact venue has not been announced. The event page lists the location only as “To Be Announced” in Chillicothe.

Tickets are free, but attendees must register in advance through the official event page. Sign-ups are limited to four tickets per person, and registrants must confirm by text message before their tickets are valid.

The stop puts the president in Ross County in the final week of a midterm cycle in which Ohio’s ballot carries both a governor’s race and a special U.S. Senate election. Republican Vivek Ramaswamy, whom Trump endorsed, faces Democrat Amy Acton for governor, and Sen. Jon Husted faces former Sen. Sherrod Brown in the special election for the seat Vice President JD Vance vacated. Trump has also weighed in further down the ballot, endorsing state Auditor Keith Faber for attorney general in September.

The event is billed as a “Midterm Rally in Chillicothe, Ohio featuring President Donald J. Trump.” It is paid for by Trump 47 Committee Inc., a joint fundraising committee that includes the Republican National Committee, the federal accounts of state Republican parties including Ohio’s, and the president’s Save America and Never Surrender political committees, according to the listing.

Media credentials are being handled through a separate request form on the event page.
