ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — The Ross County Sheriff’s Office partnered with the United States Marshal Service to conduct a compliance check of area sex offenders.
According to Ross County Sheriff George Lavender, 90 registered offenders were found to be in compliance with state law with 10 offenders found to be non-compliant.
An additional 24 have yet to be contacted, the Sheriff said.
Officials say criminal investigations will be launched against those sex offenders who are found non-compliant.
