CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — City of Chillicothe Utilities Director Brad Long released an update on the repair project at the intersection of Watt and Water Streets on the city’s east side.
According to Long, the intersection will be closed as well as the portions of Water Street from Brownell to East Fairview Avenue.
The closure is part of a sewer repair project following the opening of a large sinkhole.
“Due to the severity of the damage, the repair work could take between one and three months,” said Long.
The closure will also restrict access to the south sidewalk from Brownell to East Fairview.
