POMEROY, Ohio — Meigs County Sheriff’s Office was kept busy on February 14th, responding to a series of incidents throughout the county. Here’s a breakdown of the calls:
At 6:59 PM EST, deputies conducted a traffic stop on Naylors Run Rd near Laurel Cliff Rd in Pomeroy. The driver received a verbal warning for a vehicle defect.
Just fifteen minutes later, at 7:14 PM EST, another traffic stop was initiated on Bashan Rd near US 33 in Racine. The driver was given a verbal warning for speeding.
At 8:04 PM EST, deputies pulled over a vehicle on SR 124 near Barringer Ridge Rd in Portland. The driver, identified as Justin McNabb, was issued a citation for driving under suspension. A valid driver took possession of the vehicle.
Around 8:12 PM EST, deputies responded to a report of harassment on Vance Rd in Albany.
Later, at 9:17 PM EST, deputies were called to Peach Fork near US 33 in Pomeroy to assist with a disabled vehicle. A tow company was requested to remove the vehicle from the scene.
Lastly, at 10:56 PM EST, deputies investigated a complaint on Valley Belle Rd in Racine. After speaking with the caller, deputies visited a neighboring residence but were unable to make contact.
