WILMINGTON, Ohio — The Scioto Valley faces a renewed threat of severe weather tonight and Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). Forecasters warn of powerful thunderstorms capable of producing large hail, damaging winds, isolated tornadoes, and heavy rain.
The greatest risk of severe weather arrives tonight between 5 PM and 2 AM, with a second window of concern on Tuesday from midday to 8 PM. Residents are urged to remain weather-aware over the next two days, as all potential hazards are in play.
The NWS recommends having a plan in place in case of severe weather, including a designated storm shelter and a method for receiving weather warnings.
