Initial Narrative: While on patrol in a marked cruiser, I observed a silver sedan bearing Ohio registration JBT4159 traveling East on E. Main Street. Upon checking the vehicle registration through LEADS, it returned that the registration was expired as of 05/28/24. I activated my overhead lights and initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of E. Main Street and Brownell Street. Upon approach, I identified the driver as VALENTINE, JONATHAN K. Jonathan stated that he was aware that his registration was expired.

Initial Narrative: On July 16th, 2024, I was on E. Main Street behind a gold Ford Focus, (OH Reg# JZC1119) which had a registration sticker bearing 3/24. After running the vehicle through LEADS, I confirmed the tags had in fact expired March of 2024. I stopped the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Angel Coughenour, and advised her of the violation. Angel was issued a citation for expired registration, and given a court date of July 26th, 2024 at 9:00 AM in the Chillicothe Municipal Court.
