BAINBRIDGE, Ohio — A Ross County resident reported that two of their vehicles were damaged by gunfire on August 20.
The Ross County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident at a residence on Garman Lane in Bainbridge. The property owner discovered the vehicles had been struck by bullets and reported the damage to authorities. According to the deputy’s report, 22 .22 caliber long rifle casings were found at the scene.
The property owner suspects that the damage was caused by an individual who previously lived on the property in a camper. The name of the possible suspect has been redacted from the sheriff’s office report.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
