A car carrier semi truck caught fire along route 35 on Saturday.
It happened on route 35 East, near the Ross and Fayette County lines.
The truck’s trailer started smoking and then, caught fire. The big rig driver was able to get pulled over onto the shoulder.
The fire claimed approximately five cars that were being hauled.
Parrish Towing and Recovery was called to the scene to clean up while traffic was down to one lane for hours.
