FAYETTE COUNTY, Ohio —- Traffic along I-71 in Fayette County is at a standstill this afternoon.

According to reports, a car fire has restricted the southbound lanes near the outlet mall in Octa.

Motorists are advised to find an alternative route.

Fire crews remain on the scene. The cause of the fire was not immediately determined.

Traffic, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation, was backed up for several miles.
