JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio — A popular highway is restricted at this hour due to a large semi fire.
The call came in at around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
It’s happening on route 35, westbound, near the Ross and Jackson County line; at Springer Road.
Officials said the semi was fully ablaze and was catching nearby trees on fire.
The highway was restricted as crews battled the fire.
