MT. STERLING, Ohio — Route 62 was shut down for multiple hours on Thursday following a semi rollover accident near the vicinity of Five Points Pike.
The incident resulted in significant damage to a tanker truck involved in the crash. Authorities have not yet disclosed the official cause of the accident, nor have they released the name of the driver involved or the extent of any injuries sustained.
The closure of Route 62 caused disruptions to traffic in the area as emergency responders worked to clear the scene and investigate the incident further.
