CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Firefighters battled a blaze in the area of East Fifth Street in Chillicothe on Saturday evening. It happened just after 5:30 PM.
Upon arrival at the scene, medics from the city fire department reported that the structure was fully involved. Dispatchers indicated that the building is believed to be vacant.
The cause of the fire remains unknown as firefighters work to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby properties. No injuries have been reported at this time.
