An active manhunt was underway Sunday night on Infirmary Lane for a man who is wanted for a parole violation.
Deputies were attempting to execute an arrest warrant on the man shortly before 9 p.m., Sunday, when he fled on foot. The man’s name has not been released by deputies at this time and dispatchers would not release any information when asked, however, it has been reported that the man’s initial charge resulting in parole was burglary.
Deputies set up a perimeter and called in a K-9 unit to the scene. The Ohio Highway Patrol had several units assisting the Sheriff’s office.
The search concluded shortly before 10 p.m. without the man being taken into custody.
