A woman was allegedly beaten at Walmart in Chillicothe in broad daylight Friday afternoon.
The woman was in the parking lot, row 10, when she was pushed down and assaulted by at least one person. Another woman — a suspect — was helping a man beat the woman up.
When the victim was pushed to the ground, her hip was severely injured, according to police, and her cell phone was broken.
The female suspect ran away from the scene, while the man took off in a car and sped away. Several witnesses in the parking lot were in shock and tended to the woman and called 9-1-1.
Police are searching the area for the woman who fled on foot and the suspect’s car.
The injured victim was taken to Adena Medical Center.
Walmart’s parking lot is littered with outdoor security cameras and police expect the brutal incident was caught on film.
