UPDATE: 1:15 AM: DP&L says the cause for the outage was due to repairs. The call center said that they had an outage earlier on Monday and they had to “turn it down” tonight in order to finish the repairs. As of 1:15 a.m., DP&L said the electric was restored.

ORIGINAL STORY: A power outage has caused more than 800 people to lose their lights and all electronic charging capabilities Monday night.
According to Dayton Power and Light, 808 homes and businesses are impacted by the outage near Washington Court House. DP&L did not immediately release what caused the outage, but reported that they expect power to be restored by 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
The bulk of the customers, according to DP&L, are affected near the WalMart Distribution plant along Robinson Road.
