At least twelve people escaped from two houses next door to one another as they caught fire in Washington Court House Friday afternoon.
The fire broke out in the 600 block of Temple Street on the corner of Delaware Street. The fire spread to a nearby house next door.
Firefighters arrived on scene and removed 12 people from the homes, according to AlertPage. WCH Fire Chief Tim Downing said all the occupants were out safely when firefighters were on scene. He said no injuries have been reported.
