A trial is set to begin Monday for a husband and wife duo accused of kidnapping, killing, and hiding their infant son’s body in a well.

Jessica and Daniel Groves have pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder and other charges in the death of their son, Dylan, who was born last January, the Associated Press said.

His body was found in June in a well near their home.

Police say the son was removed from his parents’ home when he was born with drugs in his system but was later returned to his father.

The AP reports that the state determined that Scioto County Children Services mishandled the boy’s case and didn’t follow required procedures. The agency was ordered to submit a corrective action plan.
