Troopers were engaged a pursuit in Ross County after dangerous speeds.
The chase started at around 5:25 p.m. on Wednesday.
The chase was on Main Street and then ended up on Bridge Street. Troopers and deputies were told to terminate the chase by supervisors.
The chase started back up after law enforcement tailed the car.
It ended up stopped on Charleston Pike and troopers had the driver at gun point. He has been tased and he is in custody. His name has not been released.
A passenger involved in the pursuit was also tased.
During the chase, troopers said the man threw three bags of presumed drugs out the window near a creek. They have taken the items into evidence.
