Firefighters battled a brush fire in Ross County Thursday afternoon.
The call came in at around noon on Thursday that a field was on fire in the 8000 block of Blain Highway.
Firefighters said that due to wind, they could not get the fire under control. Multiple counties were called in to assist.
First Responders said the homeowner was trying to burn off brush on his land when he lost control of the flames.
Shortly before 1:30 p.m., crews said they had the fire under control.
