Troopers were involved in a second pursuit Thursday in Ross County.
It is the second chase in the area with an earlier one that ended on Gullet Road.
In this one, a trooper tried to stop a Chevrolet Tracker on Trego Creek Road for a minor equipment violation. The driver, William Diltz, 46, Chillicothe refused stop; that’s when troopers gave chase with the pursuit reaching speeds of 70 MPH.
The chase ended after Diltz pulled into a driveway on route 23 near Rozelle Creek Road, where he took off running into the woods. He was captured a short time later.
Two women that were in the SUV with him were not charged.
