A suspicious death is being investigated at a Chillicothe motel.
It happened at around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at Americas [sic] Best Value Inn on Main Street.
When officers arrived they found a man dead inside. It wasn’t immediately apparent to the responding officers how the person died. As a result, a detective has been assigned.
Hotel managers told the Guardian that the entire property is under recorded video with a security system and that they are pulling the video for police.
No additional details or names have been released.
