The Pike County Sheriff has been involved in a standoff.
It happened Tuesday afternoon just before 1 p.m. on Darst Road.
Deputies said that a woman called 9-1-1 saying she and her children were locked in a house by a man who forced his way inside along Smith Road.
Before deputies arrived, Kevin Jenkins fled the area and was found inside a camper on Darst Road. There, deputies say the man barricaded himself and a standoff ensued.
Deputies were able to gain entry after a short time and took Jenkins into custody. According to the Sheriff, interim Sheriff Jim Nelson made the arrest.
Jenkins is charged with burglary and unlawful restraints.
