One person was shot in Ross County Monday evening.
The call came in at around 6:30 p.m.
It happened along route 23 south after someone called 9-1-1 saying that a person had been shot in the stomach.
An ambulance responded and took a man to a nearby fire department A medical helicopter met them and flew the man to a trauma-level hospital.
The shooting is not criminal-in-nature and the man is expected to be okay.
