Two people were shot Monday evening in Chillicothe in an apparent murder-suicide.
It happened just before 5 p.m. near the 300 block of McKeller Street.
Chief of Police Keith Washburn confirmed the shooting.
“Chillicothe Police is investigating a shooting,” he told the Guardian. He added that officers arrived and found a man shot dead from a gunshot. Before taking his own life, he shot his girlfriend. She died after being flown to Columbus.
No names have been released.
