More details are starting to emerge of a Sunday morning shooting in Chillicothe.
It happened at 3 Cheyenne Drive in Zane Village at about 4:30 a.m.
A man called 9-1-1 saying he had been shot in the arm. When police arrived, he told them two masked men armed with guns broke into his trailer and started demanding money and guns. According to Jordan Stokien, of Cheyenne Drive, one of the men shot him in the arm while demanding access to a gun safe. Stokien reportedly handed over the code.
Inside the safe, police said, were two AK-47 guns, fully loaded with 30 rounds each. Also inside the safe was an AR-15 with a round drum, fully loaded.
The two men fled the trailer with the guns and Stokien was taken by EMS to Adena Regional.
No suspects have been identified.
