A manhunt was underway in Ross County after a stolen car in Highland County.
It happened at around 7:45 a.m. on Monday, after a man stole an SUV from a senior center in Greenfield.
Police put a BOLO out on the car and law enforcement spotted it near the Highland County line along route 28. A chase ensued at high speeds and the suspect crashed the car near Humboldt. The man fled on foot into nearby woods.
The active manhunt was underway in the area for the suspect with the Ohio Highway Patrol leading the effort.
No other information has been released.
