Obituary
Robert L. Gregory, Jr., 45, of Ray, Ohio, died 7:10 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2021 in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.
He was born April 19, 1975, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Robert L. Sr. and Mary Rittenhouse Gregory.
Surviving are his mother, Mary (Jim) Moats, of Kingston, Ohio; fiancée, Melissa Depue, of Ray, OH; children, Robert L. Gregory III, Ryan D. Gregory, Christian A. Gregory, Harley N. Gregory and Melinda “Mindy” Gregory, all of Chillicothe, Adriania N. (Brian) Smith, Ryan K. Prater, both of McArthur and Tessa M. Prater, of Gallipolis; grandchildren, Dallas Gregory, Treyton Smith, Emsley Smith, Addison Prater and Alaylah Linton; and nephews, Jason “Ryan” and Tylan N. Gregory. He was predeceased by his father, Robert L. Gregory Sr.; a brother, Jason Gregory; and a sister, Melinda Gregory.
Robert was a mechanic for Herrnstein Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep. He was a Green Bay Packers Fan, enjoyed participating in demolition derbies and spending time in the outdoors.
A public graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 in Boblett Cemetery. A private viewing will be held for immediate family. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
