Two homes burned in Fayette County over the weekend.
The first house fire caught fire in the 700 block of N. North Street on Saturday. It happened during the day and had North Street closed for nearly 12 hours at Eyman Park Drive. The cause of the fire was not immediately released.
The second fire occurred early Sunday morning in Jefferson Township.
Firefighters said that the house on Shady Grove Road was fully engulfed in flames. Once they arrived, the structure was almost to the ground. The cause of the fire was not immediately released.
No serious injuries were reported in either fire.
