Route 23 in Ross County was shut down Tuesday morning due to a crashed semi.
The call came in at around 8 a.m. on Tuesday that a semi jackknifed on the highway just north of route 207; that’s close to Herrnstein Hyundai.
Dispatchers said they could not immediately release information if there were any injuries, but said that the semi stretched across all of the northbound lanes. It was not immediately released if any other vehicles were involved.
By 9 a.m., one lane northbound had reopened, but one lane southbound became closed as a result of emergency vehicles.
All lanes were opened at 10 a.m.
No names have been released.
