Law enforcement were engaged in a high speed pursuit Wednesday afternoon.
The Highway Patrol confirmed to the Guardian that a stolen vehicle was spotted around 3:30 p.m. by a trooper in the area of Massieville. When the trooper tried to pull the stolen Volkswagen over, the driver gave chase.
The pursuit ended up snaking down Mt. Zion Road before the teenager behind the wheel crashed. He was not seriously injured, but he was transported to the hospital as a precaution.
The teenager’s name will not be released because he is 15-years-old.
