A person was shot Sunday morning in Washington Court House.
It happened in the 600 block of N. North Street Street near Gregg.
Law enforcement sources confirm to the Guardian that Jeremy Peters, 37, was shot and was transported to a Columbus-area hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. The person responsible for the shooting is in custody, law enforcement sources said.
There was a heavy police presence at the scene Sunday afternoon as investigators began to piece together a timeline on what led up to the shooting.
The suspect’s name or a motive for the shooting have not been released.
