A portion of a major highway is restricted at this hour.
Route 23 southbound at Circle Lane in Circleville is partially closed after a semi broke down just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday. One lane southbound is opened, but extremely congested because of the incident.
Deputies are on scene assisting traffic while the intersection is closed.
