It happened at around 1 p.m. at the Taco Bell on Western Avenue.
The man, who is in his late-20s, was shot in the back while in the drive-thru from a passenger in the backseat. He was taken to Adena Regional in non-life threatening condition. His name has not been released.
The events that led up to the shooting were not immediately released.
The restaurant was briefly closed while Police responded to the scene and the shooting was cleared up.
