John William Tolson
John William Tolson, 85, of Kingston, passed away on March 28, 2021 at the Kobacker House, Columbus, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 26, 1936, in Mullan, Idaho, the son of the late William and Sarah (Hutchinson) Tolson. On July 16, 1975, he united in marriage with his loving wife, Janice (Corkwell) Tolson, who survives.
John is also survived by his beloved children, Ralph (Mary) Tolson, Mike Tolson, Steven Tolson, and Tanya Tolson; grandchildren, Danny, Tracy, Christina, Kimberly, Kristopher, Aurelia, and Cora; sister, Nancy McKinney; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Tolson, Jean Powers, Betty Ann Camron, Ella Argil, Joyce Walters, and Wilma Kelly.
John proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. John was a member of the VFW and DAV of Chillicothe.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 3 at 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor Bruce Viar officiating and military honors conducted by the Ross County Veteran’s Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Saturday from noon until the time of the service at Hill’s. Covid-19 precautions will be observed.
