The state’s BCI was called to the scene of a deadly shooting Monday morning in Chillicothe.
It happened at around 7:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Madeira Avenue.
Neighbors say that a woman was seen loading a man up into a car and driving away, while he suffered a gunshot wound. Chillicothe Police confirmed to the Guardian that a short time later the man was found in Pike County, where he died at the hospital. His name has not been released.
Crime scene tape surrounded the two-story home late into the afternoon as detectives scoured the area for evidence.
Chillicothe Police did not release the suspect or victim’s name.
