HOCKINGPORT, Ohio — Troopers said that an Athens County woman was killed Sunday night in an accident.
It happened at around 7 p.m. along state Route 144 near mile marker 3, troopers said.
52-year-old Marcia Edwards of Nelsonville was driving a 2003 Toyota Tundra when she drove off of the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, drove off of the left side of the roadway and overturned, troopers reported.
Edwards died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
