CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Less than 3% of voters turned out Tuesday, for the state’s scheduled primary election in Pickaway County.
According to the Pickaway County Board of Elections, 47 ballots were cast in total for a city council race in Circleville’s Third Ward.
The race was between Todd Brady and Josh Ford. Both men were vying to represent their ward on city council. Brady received 35 votes, while Ford received 12.
The ward’s turnout was 2.2%, according to the Board of Elections. 2,219 total registered voters reside in the Third Ward, according to records.
No other races were contested with a primary in Pickaway County. A host of council seats are running unopposed in November.
