CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — A cancer benefit is being held for a Pickaway County woman who has been diagnosed with cervical cancer.
The benefit for Melinda Stevens will take place Saturday, June 12 at the American Legion, Post 134 on route 23 in Circleville. The event will include a biker ride, Jeep ride, an auction, and a 50/50 raffle drawing, and kicks-off at 1 p.m.
Stevens has been unable to work since the summer of 2020 as a result of her diagnoses, organizers said. She is a mother to four children and a grandmother to a small toddler. All proceeds will go to assist Stevens in living expenses and medical bills.
