Donald D. Jester, 68, of Chillicothe, died 10:34 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born December 7, 1952, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Don E. and Hazel M. Hill Jester. On November 9, 1985, he married the former Deborah J. Swiggett who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Starlene (Bradley) Woods, of Oak Hill; a son, Kim W. Townsend Jr., of Oak Hill; grandchildren, Taylor Woods and Achilles Townsend; a great grandson, Brighton Kennard; a brother, Rickie (Shirley) Jester, of Washington Court House; a nephew, Erick Jester; and a great niece, Faith Jester.
Donald served in the United States Army. He worked for Ohio Job and Family Services as a Caseworker.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ware Funeral Home to help the family.
Family and friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2021. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Yoctangee Park.
