Homer Junior “Bud” Guysinger, 93, of Chillicothe, went to his heavenly home at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2021 at his residence following a brief illness.
He was born July 20, 1927, in Piketon, Ohio, to the late Homer and Minnie Malott Guysinger. On February 23, 1946, he married to the former Goldie E. Leggs who died March 7, 2003.
Also surviving are a daughter, Linda (Roger) Woolridge, of Piketon; a son, Ronnie (Nina) Guysinger, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Jodi (Ryan) Foltz, Larry (Renae) Waller, Nick (Ruthann) Waller, Michelle Detty, Ron Guysinger, Jr., Sabrina Bentley, Shane (Jessie) Lane, Nate (Grace) Guysinger, Heidi (Ricky) Proehl, and Justin Hurst; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Guysinger, of Greenfield; a sister, Martha Green, of Chillicothe; a sister-in-law, Billie Guysinger, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by father-in-law and mother-in-law, Nate and Amy Leggs; children, Sandy, Ricky and Bonnie Guysinger; brothers, Jerry, Gene, Ralph, Phil and Bill; and sisters, Helen and Mae.
Bud served in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from the former Basic Construction where he had worked for 42 years.
A private graveside service will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
