Our Heavenly Father called Mary, 83, home on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 10:57 a.m. at the Adena Regional Medical Center.
She was born January 30, 1938, in Ross County, to the late Harry Sr. and Alice Kelley Withrow. God blessed Mary as part of a large family of 20 children.
Mary leaves to mourn her, children, Rick (Chris) Cox, of Chillicothe, OH and Crystal (Rick) Satterfield, of Bethel, OH; grandchildren, Karen, David (Ashley) and Jeff (Natalie) Cox, Charles and Donna Satterfield and Annie Estes; great-grandchild, Danny Horner; sisters, Jo Tinker, Wilma Seymour, Molly Harrington and Cynthia Withrow, all of Chillicothe; brothers, Samuel (Sandra) Withrow, Ralph (Martha) Withrow, Mike Withrow, all of Chillicothe and Virgil (Linda) Withrow, of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Merle Cox Jr.; sisters, Alice Ward, Maude Alley, Elizabeth Sims and Linda Ramirez; brothers, Clarence, James, Harry Jr. and Glenn Withrow; and 3 infant brothers.
Mary retired from General Electric and the former White Laundry. Mary enjoyed music all her life and could be heard singing at local festivals and jamborees, often with other family members.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Aaron Satterfield officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
