Obituary
ROBERT “LEO” JORDAN, age 83, of Jeffersonville, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 9:09 p.m. at Mount Carmel Grove City.

He was born on April 5, 1938 in Clinton County to Victor and Verda (Reid) Jordan. Leo proudly served his country in the US Army where he traveled all over the world, earning expert marksmanship with Carbine and M14 rifles. Leo retired from Crane Cortec in Washington CH. He enjoyed gardening, harness racing, and being with his family especially his granddaughter Morgan.

Leo was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Forrest Jordan, Russell Jordan, Ralph Jordan, and Thelma Dailey.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Ann (Elmore) Jordan, whom he married on May 4, 1974; children, Diane Grooms, and Rob (Paige) Jordan; and grandchildren, Bailey Polley and Morgan Jordan.

The memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
